Guided Fly Fishing

Maximum 2 anglers per guide (fishing licence is an additional fee – see Fish & Game New Zealand for more info)

Includes fishing guide, complimentary top range waders, boots, rods, reels, pack lunch and 4WD transport to the rivers.

Heli Fishing

The cost for this package is determined by the time taken in the helicopter to the remote site and the number of people on each flight so this price can only be worked out on an individual cost basis when booked.

Transfers

Road transfers from Nelson Airport (50min) are: $300 each way for (1-2 persons), and $500 each way for (3-8 persons).
Helicopter transfers from Nelson Airport to our on-site helipad (15 minutes) can be quoted depending on the number of passengers and luggage.

A Hiker's Paradise

Capture all the best features the region has to offer with 3 full day personal guided walks in the three National Parks close to Stonefly Lodge.
Abel Tasman National Park is predominantly a coastal park, and is admired for its golden sandy beaches, tranquil lagoons, fascinating rocky outcrops and beautiful, unmodified estuaries. Nelson Lakes National Park comprises 101,753 hectares of beech forest, valleys, isolated glacial lakes and craggy peaks, clear streams and home to native Bellbirds and Kaka among many others. Kahurangi National Park covers most of the north western corner of the South Island and has diverse virgin forests, alpine flora, wild rivers and a wide array of landforms. It is home to over half of New Zealand's 2400 native plant species.

All fly fishing packages mentioned above, are per person including GST. They include luxury accommodation, either twin / double, or single basis,

Booking Conditions

A 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking. Full payment is required 30 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Greater than 90 days before arrival - 1 day cancellation fee
Within 90 days of arrival -- 50% cancellation fee
Within 60 days of arrival -- 100% cancellation fee

We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance to cover any cancellation fees

All 4 guest rooms are equipped with a super-king bed which can be split into two singles.
We generally do not cater for children under 16 yrs of age unless sole use of the lodge is required.
